Why I Use Wix Forms Instead of WordPress Forms

I’ve used WordPress over the years when needed, but I’ll be honest — it’s never really been my favorite, especially when it comes to forms. Between the plugin updates, extra steps, and ongoing maintenance, it just feels more complicated than it needs to be.
Recently, I helped a client build a simple form on WordPress, and it reminded me of how frustrating it can be. You need one plugin to create the form, another to store submissions, and often, key features are locked behind a paywall. Worst of all, submissions aren’t even saved in the dashboard unless you upgrade or install yet another plugin.
That’s one of the reasons I use Wix, and more specifically, Wix Forms.
Wix Forms are:
Built into the platform — no extra plugins required
Easy to set up and manage
Automatically store all submissions in your site dashboard
Allow you to export submissions anytime (CSV or Excel)
It’s just a smoother, more efficient experience — both for me and my clients.
I recorded a quick video walking through how Wix Forms work and why I prefer them. Watch it below:
