Is Canva Pro good for Business?

The short answer is yes. But if you want to know more about Canva Pro then keep reading.

Canva Pro is a fantastic tool for designers and marketers and is one of the best and most affordable tools available.

In this post, I’m going to share some ways I use Canva Pro in my business. And just to clarify, Canva does have a free account option but this post will focus mostly on Canva Pro which is a paid version of Canva.

Let's get started!

Canva Pro Pricing

The first thing I’m sure you’re wondering is how much Canva Pro costs. That’s a great question. It’s $12.99 per month or $119.99 per year for one person. If you have more than one person, then you'll want to use Canva for Teams which has a different pricing structure.

For me, I find that very affordable compared to other tools available on the market. And as I hope to show you in this post, I keep finding more and more ways to incorporate Canva into my business.

The more I use it the more I see the value that Canva can provide my business and my clients.

So what do I use Canva Pro for?

How I Use Canva Pro

The short answer is everything. Okay, not everything. But I do use Canva Pro for quite a bit. I use it for:

This isn’t an exhaustive list. But it provides a good idea of what I use Canva for on a daily basis. At KDC Marketing, we offer web design, SEO, and other marketing services to clients to help them grow their business.

Canva Pro allows me to provide professional, high quality design work for any of our clients’ marketing needs.

Sometimes they need social media images for a marketing campaign. Other times we use Canva to create a mood board for a new website. Other times we are using it to create a logo, or maybe a t-shirt design.

There really are so many ways we use Canva and it integrates so well into our business.

One of the reasons we utilize Canva for so many different things is because it’s easy to use and it’s a great collaboration tool.

I can work on designs with my team members in real time and also share those designs with the client for review, feedback, and presentation purposes.

It also has everything in one place. It has images, videos, audio, and more, all things you need to create compelling designs.

It also has branding capabilities so you can get a consistent look and feel.

So it has been a fantastic tool for us at KDC Marketing and I find myself learning new and useful things about the platform all the time.

I’ve told you how I use Canva Pro. So let's talk about why you should use it.

Why You Should Use Canva Pro

The honest truth is you should only use Canva Pro if it works for your business. Some people don’t need Canva Pro, and that’s okay.

If you’re not designing things, then I can see why it might not appeal to you.

But if you're a small business who is looking for an affordable way to do your design work, then Canva Pro might be a good option for you.

It's meant for a one person account who needs more than what the free plan can offer. So if you find yourself doing your own design work, then that's a good sign.

One thing I just discovered the other day is that you can record your screen with Canva. You just go to “Uploads” and “Record Yourself” and you’re good to go.

The reason that matters is because I was looking for a screen recording tool to make some training videos and some videos for some courses I want to create.

I had researched several tools online, but didn’t find one that I liked that much. But then somehow, I found the screen recording tool on Canva and it was awesome. It was just what I was looking for and it was already included as part of my Canva Pro account.

So now I can create screen recordings in addition to all the other things I can do.

That’s just one example of how Canva can provide value to your business.

I hope you can see how Canva Pro could be a great tool for your business. I know it’s been an awesome experience for me and my team at KDC Marketing. We love using Canva and love how it continues to make an impact for our customers.

If you’re thinking about signing up for Canva, then do it. Give it a try. I promise you won’t regret it. And if you end up not liking it or it doesn’t work for your business, then you’re only out a couple of bucks.

There really is nothing to lose. You could even try their free account first and then expand into Canva Pro from there.

Thanks for taking the time to read this article. I hope you have an awesome day!
